Description:
This page shows the rating I received so far, for the current school year. I received 3s across components during my first informal observation in November. I received 4s on components 1a and 1e during the January formal observation and 2s on components 3b and 3d during the April 4 observation.

Reflection:
The class started with 6 students in September. Though they were only 6, the year still started with some struggles. By September, I was very comfortable navigating HMH and Eureka online. However, It was still a bridge class and 2 levels higher than last year. In about a month, I am already used to developing lessons for 2nd and 3rd graders particularly in math. A student from an ICT class joined my class on February 7th. The new student came with comparable skills and behavior with the original group.
I did not adjust quickly enough to the change that came in the second week of March. In hindsight, I should have adjusted my groupings and instructions sooner, in time for the April 4th observation. I thought that with my vast experience and academic preparations, I can handle and adjust quickly to anything that can come my way. It was a humbling experience. There are now 5 reading levels and 4 math levels in the classroom, not to mention, the change in the classroom dynamics due to additional, more bubbly personalities. Going forward, I will reportion the 50 minute period between the "I-do" -"You-do" and the small group more effectively. By the time I wrote this reflection, I think I have developed the best grouping and scheduling for my class.
