              This page shows my Measure of Teacher Practice for the school year 2022-2023.  I broke down and tabularized my ratings as shown below. Except for component 2a, I received all 2 ratings during my first informal observation. For the succeeding formal and informal observations, I received effective ratings.

Reflection:

          My first 2 months after being out of the DOE for 6 years, was very challenging. It took me a while to learn how to navigate HMH, Eureka, the social studies and science curriculum. Being out of the classroom for a while made me forget myself, overlooking the skills I accumulated since 1996 and what I learned from my 2 master degrees.  I got too busy developing lesson plans that mimicked the general ed classrooms. 

          I listened well to the feedback from the first informal.  I restructured my lesson plans which will be showcased on another webpage.  Looking at the graph shows that my labor was worth it.
